Zoom Meeting Security Issues

In light of the recent uptick in remote employees, there have been a large number of security breaches regarding Zoom meetings.

Sensitive Zoom account information is being sold or given away on hacker forums for "Zoombombing," a form of trolling where malicious actors hijack Zoom calls and share offensive content. A recent Business Insider article highlighted reports of Zoombombing that included trolls screaming racist slurs in a meeting for women of color and taunting people in virtual Alcoholics Anonymous meetings.

It is our recommendation that any user currently using video conferencing software such as Zoom, GoToMeeting or Skype should update their passwords immediately.
